Last lunch in Goa

After several trips, Deepa realized that my honeymoon with Goa was finally over. On our last trip together, I had initiated the process of selling our apartment in Vasco and this was my trip alone to sign the papers, which meant this was my last trip (probably) to the place with which I had fallen in love at first sight. It was a day-long trip and I had to finish off everything and catch my flight back to Delhi at …

Go Goa-2004 (Day 1)

We quickly made a list of all our friends for whom we had to take back souvenirs and the list got longer and longer…colleagues, bosses, cousins, relatives, …

Goan cuisine

Above all things good about Goa is its cusine…Oh! nothing can perhaps beat the xacuti and Sorpotel. The Goan cuisine is a blend of different influences that the Goans had to endure during the centuries. The staple food in Goa is fish and rice. All the more reason why I love Goa. If in Goa, act like a Goan — enjoy the food, drink and be happy. I’m really grateful to have a Goan as a friend. Although it’s very …
